Q: Do you travel outside of Arizona and California?
Absolutely! My home base is Scottsdale, AZ, so any shoot within 45 minutes is completely free of travel charges. If we are shooting up in Sedona, Tucson, or out in California, I use a super simple, transparent flat-rate travel fee so you know exactly what to expect before you ever sign a contract.
Q: I am incredibly awkward in front of a camera. Can you help me?
Honestly, 90% of my clients tell me this right before we start! My entire shooting style is built around making you feel relaxed and natural. I won't leave you hanging with stiff, unnatural poses. I will guide you through movements, prompt you, and keep the energy light so you actually look (and feel) like yourself.
Q: How long does it take to receive my photos?
I know waiting is the hardest part! For most standard sessions (like The Content Refresh or Essential Session), your fully edited, high-resolution gallery will be delivered within 72 hours. Larger commercial projects and events may take slightly longer, but I always prioritize a fast, professional turnaround. Express 24-hour delivery is also available if you are in a rush! (All content is delivered through a personal & private "Pic-time app" gallery)
Q: Can I have the unedited or RAW files from our shoot?
I like to think of RAW files as an unfinished canvas! Half of my creative process happens after we wrap on location, where I carefully color-grade, light-balance, and retouch each image to bring it to life in my signature style. Because an unedited photo doesn't represent the final, high-quality art you hired me to create, I don't release RAW files. Instead, I meticulously comb through our session to ensure you receive a fully polished, high-resolution gallery of all the absolute best shots, completely ready for you to use and share.
Q: What should I wear to my shoot?
Wear what makes you feel the most confident! During our pre-shoot consultation, we will chat about the exact vibe of your brand and project. I'll help you narrow down colors and styles that look incredible on camera and match the location we are shooting at.
Q: How do we officially book a date?
It’s super simple. Head over to my Contact page, fill out the quick inquiry form, and I’ll get back to you within 24-48 hours. From there, we will lock in a date, grab a deposit, and start planning your shoot!
Q: Do you help with location scouting?
Yes! Finding the right backdrop is a huge part of the creative process. Whether you need a sleek studio in Scottsdale, a sunlit cafe, or a rugged California landscape, we will brainstorm the perfect spot during our pre-shoot consultation to match your exact vibe.
Q: What if the weather is terrible on the day of our shoot?
We always keep a close eye on the forecast! If we are shooting outdoors and the weather isn’t cooperating (like heavy rain or extreme heat), we have three options: we can embrace it for a moody vibe, move to an indoor backup location, or simply reschedule your session to a better day at no extra cost.
Q: Do you provide hair and makeup artists?
While I don't provide hair and makeup directly in my packages, I highly recommend getting it done to give you that extra boost of confidence! If you need recommendations, just let me know—I have a trusted list of incredibly talented local artists in both Arizona and California that I’d love to share with you.
Q: Do you require a deposit to lock in a date?
Yes, to officially secure your date on my calendar, I require a signed contract and a standard 50% non-refundable retainer. The remaining balance is simply due on the day of our shoot!
Q: What happens if I get sick or have an emergency and need to reschedule?
Life happens, and I completely understand. If you need to reschedule, I just ask for at least 48 hours' notice if possible. Your retainer will seamlessly transfer over to our new agreed-upon date.
Q: Can we extend the shoot on the day-of if we need more time?
Absolutely. If we are in the zone, the creativity is flowing, and you decide you want to capture a few more looks or locations, we can easily extend the session. Additional coverage is just billed at my standard hourly rate of $200/hour.
Q: I have a specific prop or product I want to include. How does that work?
Bring them along! Whether it's your favorite coffee mug for a branding shoot, a specific culinary tool, or physical products you sell, props are an amazing way to tell your story. We will plan out exactly how to incorporate them naturally during our pre-shoot chat.
